Kenneth “Kenny” Berger has dedicated his professional life to representing deserving human beings and their families in life-altering injury and wrongful death cases across South Carolina. Through the consistent application of values such as honesty, hard work, and generosity, he has achieved noteworthy results while also earning the respect of clients, colleagues, and the community.
Kenny is a frequent presenter nationally and has repeatedly been recognized by Super Lawyers, Columbia Business Monthly, andother organizations for his contributions to the legal profession. In 2019 and 2022, South Carolina Lawyers Weekly honored him with a Leadership in Law Award. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice’s Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation & Trucking Litigation Groups, and recently served as principal author for the South Carolina Bar’s book on Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation.
Kenny takes pride in giving back to the community. He has donated more than $500,000 to numerous charities through our Giving (Every) Tuesday campaign. In 2024, Kenny and his wife, Grace, pledged $250,000 to the USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law to create the Kenneth and Grace Berger Endowed Scholarship. His firm has created scholarships for students, opportunities for children battling illness, and an annual bike helmet giveaway to protect children in the community.
Kenny also seeks to uplift the legal profession and its ethical commitment by way of seminars, journal articles, and board positions.
Kenny resides in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife, Grace, and his daughter, Goldie.
